General Information

Can I see the gym before signing up?

Yes - drop by for a free guided tour of the facility. You can meet the trainers, see the equipment, and ask any questions before deciding. Contact us in advance or just walk in during opening hours.

Are your trainers qualified?

Yes. All of our trainers and class instructors hold internationally recognised certifications in fitness instruction and/or sports nutrition. They participate in regular professional development to stay current with the latest training methodologies and research.

What languages does the staff speak?

Our team speaks Albanian and English fluently. All communication - from your first enquiry to ongoing support - can take place in either language.

Training & Classes

What group classes do you offer?

We offer a wide variety of group classes, including:

  • Yoga - flexibility, mindfulness, and core strength
  • Zumba - fun, high-energy Latin dance cardio
  • Boxing Fitness - full-body conditioning using heavy bags and pads
  • Spinning - intense indoor cycling for endurance and fat burning
  • HIIT - high-intensity interval training for maximum calorie burn
  • Pilates - core stability, posture, and mobility

Classes are open to all fitness levels unless otherwise noted. Check our schedule for times.

Do I need experience to join a group class?

No experience needed. Our instructors welcome beginners in every class and provide modifications so that anyone can participate safely and confidently. If you are nervous, speak with a trainer before your first class - they will be happy to guide you.

How soon will I see results?

Results depend on your starting point, consistency, and goals. Most members notice improved energy and mood within the first 2 weeks. Physical changes - such as increased muscle tone or weight loss - typically become visible after 4–8 weeks of consistent training and good nutrition. Your trainer will track your progress and adjust your program to keep you on track.

Facilities & Hours

What are the gym's opening hours?

Energy Gym is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 23:00, Saturday from 07:00 to 22:00, and closed on Sunday. Group class times are posted on the weekly schedule available at reception and on our social media pages.

What equipment is available?

Our facility includes:

  • Cardio zone: treadmills, ellipticals, stationary bikes, rowing machines
  • Free weights: dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells (up to 50 kg)
  • Resistance machines: cable stations, leg press, chest press, lat pulldown, and more
  • Functional training area: TRX, resistance bands, battle ropes, medicine balls, plyo boxes
  • Dedicated group class studio with mats, spin bikes, and boxing equipment
  • Stretching and recovery zone with foam rollers and mobility tools

Are there changing rooms and lockers?

Yes. We have separate male and female changing rooms with showers, lockers, and hair dryers. Lockers are free to use - you set your own digit code when you store your items, so no key or deposit is needed.

Is parking available?

Yes, there is free parking available outside the gym. Spaces are usually available throughout the day, with the busiest times being 17:00–20:00 on weekdays.

Payments & Membership

What does membership include?

One membership covers full gym access - open floor, equipment, locker rooms, and group classes. Monthly and annual plans are available; annual plans are discounted. See our Pricing page for exact figures.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept:

  • Cash (ALL - Albanian Lek)
  • Debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Bank transfer

Can I freeze or cancel my membership?

Yes. Monthly members can cancel with 7 days' notice before the next billing date. Annual members can freeze their membership for up to 1 month per year in cases of illness or travel, with valid documentation. Please speak with our front desk team to arrange this.

Are there any joining fees?

There is a one-time registration fee when you first join Energy Gym. This covers your member card and your initial fitness assessment with a trainer. The fee is waived for annual plan members. Please contact us for the current fee amount.

Nutrition & Recovery

Do you offer nutrition advice?

Yes. Our nutrition consulting service provides personalised meal plans, macro targets, and supplement guidance based on your specific goals and lifestyle. Nutrition sessions can be booked separately or as a monthly package.

How important is nutrition compared to training?

Nutrition and training work together - you cannot out-train a poor diet. As a general rule, nutrition accounts for roughly 70–80% of your visible results, while training drives performance, strength, and body composition changes. Our trainers and nutrition consultants work together to give you a holistic approach to reaching your goals.

How should I recover between training sessions?

Recovery is just as important as the workout itself. We recommend:

  • At least 7–8 hours of sleep per night
  • Adequate protein intake (typically 1.6–2.2 g per kg of body weight)
  • Active recovery on rest days - light walking, stretching, or yoga
  • Using our stretching and foam rolling zone after every session
  • Staying hydrated throughout the day

Your trainer will build scheduled rest days into your program based on your training frequency and intensity.

How long until I reach my fitness goal?

This varies by goal:

  • General fitness & energy: noticeable improvement in 2-4 weeks
  • Fat loss: visible changes in 4-8 weeks with consistent training and nutrition
  • Muscle gain: significant changes in 8-16 weeks, with continued progress over months and years
  • Athletic performance: highly variable, but structured programming produces clear improvements within 6-12 weeks

Consistency is the key factor. Your trainer will set realistic milestones and track your progress every step of the way.
